Crimson Albino Iguana
Crimson Albino Iguana
If you are looking to own an iguana but want something a bit different from the typical green ones then a crimson albino could be your perfect match. Not only are these lizards visually stunning but they also come in a variety of amazing colors from yellow to dark orange making them one of the most interesting types of iguanas available on the market.
Crimson Albino Iguana Care
Crimson Albino Iguana are a species of reptile that belong to the genus Iguana and are native to Central America, South America, Mexico, some Caribbean Islands and parts of Fiji and Madagascar. They are cold blooded and live in tropical and subtropical climates.
They have a three-chambered heart with two atria and one ventricle. The heartbeat is triggered by the contraction of muscle fibers in the thorax, which contract when the animal breathes.
The Crimson Albino Iguana muscles are very light in color due to a high proportion of fast-twitch glycolytic muscle fibers (type A). These fibers do not have a lot of vascularization and are low in myoglobin, making them easy for the animal to move.
These fibers are also a great source of oxygen which helps them burn calories to keep their bodies warm. As a result of this, they can grow very large in size and weight.
Iguanas are herbivores and eat fruits, vegetables and leaves from trees and shrubs. They can also chomp on worms, shrimp and snails as well.
Their lifespans can range from 20 years in captivity to 60 years in the wild depending on how you care for them and what they are exposed to. Iguanas are prone to behavioural issues like aggression, and overly skittish behaviour which can make them hard to handle unless they have been properly trained.

I ordered two Crimson iguanas and a snow iguana along with two albinos. All the animals came in perfect condition which I was very happy about. I will definitely be ordering from boabay again soon.

I bought 2 crimson iguana and they are very happy after a week’s time. No problems with shipping and boabay been responsive to my questions. My only recommendation is for some type of info sheet included in the shipment. The iguanas arrived without anything else. An info sheet with tips and encouragement would be nice. One of the iguanas was slow to respond and this is my first time taking care of an iguana. So, I was a bit worried in the first few days. An info sheet might have allayed those fears and doubts. Of course, there’s the website…but when you are in front of your aquarium, the website isn’t necessarily handy. All in all, we are very happy with our new pets!!

I bought a crimson iguana. The iguana arrived healthy and active. I had questions about the feeding of the iguana, and they responded quickly and professionally. The iguana ate the day after I received it.
Very happy with the purchase and customer service.

Great healthy Crimsons!
I’ve received crimson iguanas from boabay on three different occasions and each experience has been great. The animals are always packed safely and the team has been very good at communication. I would buy iguanas from them any time!

I was a little unsure from ordering from here after seeing the reviews but I took my chances and I have to say it went really well! They was in touch with me every time I had something to ask, I heard about lizards dying and what not and my crimson iguana came in perfect condition! Just ordered another iguana and I know it will be just as good! Thank you for showing me the reviews were not all right about your company!
